If you did not have the opportunity to listen to all the Café Style presentations on April 25th or would like to connect with the presenters to get more information please visit the April 25th, 2018 Workshop page.
The ppt from the workshop has also been added to that page.
If School Divisions and First Nation Education Authorities are interested in sharing resources to support reading and writing they are asked to complete the Saskatchewan Reads or the Saskatchewan Reads for Administrators Online Resource Submission Form.
If forwarding photos or video, permission forms must be completed and submitted. These resources may include but are not limited to lesson plans, assessment templates, strategies, and video.
The submissions can be forwarded to Kathy Robson email@example.com or Hélène Préfontaine at firstname.lastname@example.org
Wish you a great Wednesday!,
Provincial Reading Team
My name is Tessa. I started my teaching career this year in Grade 1. I have a lot of questions about the English Language Arts program and especially about teaching reading. What is important to understand about reading? How do I teach reading? Where do I begin? What does it look like?
Follow Tessa as she discovers the answers to these questions and many more. Welcome to the online resource developed for elementary educators by the Provincial Reading Team. It includes instructional strategies, videos, sample lessons … and more.
